Permissions Used
Word Counter uses the following Chrome permissions:
contextMenus
Used to add the “Text statistics” option when you right-click selected text.scripting
Used to run the analysis code on the current webpage only when requested by you.activeTab
Allows access to the content of the current tab only after you interact with the extension.
These permissions are used strictly for functionality and not for data collection.

The extension operates fully offline.
